Azura is located on Benguerra Island within the Bazaruto Marine National Park. Benguerra Island lies 14km north east of Vilanculos.

Azura is the country’s first luxury eco boutique retreat. The Lodge is built on a pristine island and is surrounded by miles of deserted beach.

All villas are hand built, secluded and just footsteps from the beach. All villas have a private infinity pool, dining deck and outdoor shower.

Azura Lodge is a haven of rest and relaxation and includes all the creature comforts from a luxury boutique resort. For those visitors wanting to get active, activities include diving, snorkeling, fly or big game fishing. There are also daily dhow cruises to deserted sandbank beaches. Land base activities include cultural excursions, beach picnic, dune climbing and fauna and flora guided walks.
