Azura is located on Benguerra Island within the Bazaruto Marine National Park. Benguerra Island lies 14km north east of Vilanculos.

Azura is the country’s first luxury 'eco' boutique retreat. All villas have been handbuilt, nestled amidst indigenous gardens and are just footsteps from the beach. All villas have a private plunge pool and deck area.

The Gorongosa National Park (situated in Sofala Province) lies on the South edge of the Great Rift Valley, near the border of Zimbabwe and 80km north-west of Beira. Gorongosa is home to an astounding diversity of animals and plants—some of which are found nowhere else in the world.
