Indigo Bay Island Resort is located on Bazaruto Island (37km long and up
to 7km wide) in the Bazaruto Archipelago. The area offers some of the
world's best fishing, diving and water sport areas and the resort has an
array of activities to enhance an idyllic holiday stay.
Indigo Bay Island Resort has 29 thatched beach chalets, a beachfront Honeymoon Chalet and 14 Bay View Villas including a Presidential Villa and an Executive Suite. Chalets are a stone's throw from the beach and you can choose to spend days on your private deck or in a hammock.
Bathrooms have an indoor shower that leads onto an outdoor shower. Every room is surrounded by a tropical garden hosting an explosion of colourful birds. Chalets are stylishly decorated to create a calm, cool and soothing environment and are spacious enough with a lounge flowing onto private verandas.
This lodge offers an array of areas to relax in and has a salt-water pool and wet pool bar where cocktails are served. Once you arrive at Vilanculos, you will be met by a representative from Indigo Bay, who will assist you with clearing customs & immigration prior to boarding the air shuttle. A small plane takes 15 minutes from there to reach Indigo Bay.
