Set on the shores of one of the largest man-made lakes in Africa is the
luxurious and remote Panyame Lodge, Mozambique. The lodge is located in
the Tete region of Mozambique on the shores of Lake Cahora Bassa, one
of Africa’s premier freshwater fishing destinations. Cahora Bassa has
until recently been fairly inaccessible and therefore with little
fishing pressure, fish life thrived, today making Cahora bassa a choice
destination for an African Fishing adventure. This truly is a fishing
adventure of a lifetime!!
Panyame Lodge boasts six chalets luxury tented chalets all with en suite bathrooms each sleeping two guests. The central feature of the lodge is the main guest area featuring a dinning room, lounge area and fire place all with sweeping views of Cahora Bassa. For those extra hot days on the Lake, the lodge has an infinity pool where guests can cool off with a drink in hand, taking in the magnificence of the area. This five star luxury comes as a pleasant surprise in this remote wilderness.
Panyame caters for up to eight anglers in a warm and hospitable environment.

Meal times revolve around the fishing sessions, with pre-packed sandwiches being the norm when heading out early. On returning from the morning session anglers will receive a tasty brunch/lunch. Dinner is held in the dining room where delicious three course meals are served.

The lodge has plenty of local beers and soft drinks available which are included in the cost. Guest can bring own hard liquor and wine. There is no additional corkage charge.
