If you're after black or striped marlins - they're regularly caught at Flamingo Bay. Salt water fly fishing has also become very popular at Flamingo Bay. Conditions are ideal at Flamingo Bay and many regard salt-water fly fishing as the pinnacle of the sport.

Fishing at Flamingo Bay explores the unspoilt and largely unexplored Indian Ocean with its deep Mozambique Channel harbours exciting game fish to catch - such as kingfish, queenfish, barracuda, mackerel and yellowfin tuna. Recreational and specialist anglers are increasingly attracted to the fishing at Flamingo Bay to lure legendary species such as giant black marlin, sailfish or wahoo. Fishing at Flamingo Bay is excellent all year round, with the main sailfish season being July to December and the prime marlin months being October to March.
