The region is largely un explored and with its deep Mozambique Channel harbours exciting game fish to catch - such as kingfish, queenfish, barracuda, mackerel and yellowfin tuna. Recreational and specialist anglers are increasingly attracted to the fishing in the Quirimbas Archipelago.
Fishing in the Quirimbas Archipelago is excellent all year round, with the main sailfish season being July to December and the prime marlin months being October to March.
