Pestana Inhaca Lodge is the largest hotel on Inhaca Island. It can be
reached within 10 minutes by plane from Maputo. The resort is around
40km form the Mozambican mainland. Inhaca Lodge has 40 rooms scattered among coconut palms. Choose between standard and family rooms. Inhaca Lodge is famous for its cocktails enjoyed next to the salt-water swimming pool. From here you can enjoy views towards Portuguese Island across the sea.
The island is in a secure and quiet location for yachts, sailing boats and cruise ships that lay beautifully scattered on the ocean.
Inhaca Island has a lot to offer, from boat trips to the deserted Portuguese Island and excursions to the Marine Biology Museum. We recommend booking one of the Pestana Inhaca Lodge trips to the Farol (light house).

Inhaca Lodge has one main restaurant indoors, but lunch can be enjoyed on the terrace. The Baia Restaurant is the only restaurant on the island. Dinners and breakfast are served buffet style. Lunches can be chosen from an à-la-carte menu. The restaurant specialises in Portuguese cuisine as well as Mozambican meat and salads.

The easiest way to get there is to take the 10 minute flight from Maputo Airport to the Inhaca Lodge airstrip. Daily charter boats can also be used as an alternative form of transportation.
