Bay view Lodge and Estate aim to spoil their guests with "relaxation" in all aspects. There ar no crowds, no noise, BUT, plenty of space, l-o-n-g sandy beaches, wonderful underwater scenery a few meters from your doorstep, beautiful sunrises and sunsets, and above all, time!! The lodge and estate is situated on the northern part of the Barra peninsula, at Praia da Barra.
Approximately 485km from Maputo, 25km from Inhambane town, 20km from the Inhambane international airport and all roads leading to Bay view Lodge and Estate are easily accessible with a normal car - no 4x4 vehicle needed.
Bay view Lodge offers superior self-catering accommodation, ranging from one and two-bedroom units to an 8-bedroom unit (Group House) - all are fully equipped for selfcatering and serviced and bedrooms are airconditioned. Linen is supplied and all beds have mosquito nets. You only have to bring your own beach towels with. The units are face-brick buildings with thatch roofs and all floors are tiled.

Fly from OR Tambo airport in Johannesburg South Africa to Inhambane or drive on tarred roads. Last 8km is dirt road, but fairly well maintained by all lodges in the area. No 4x4 vehicle needed to get to the lodge.
