Guinjata Resort is located in Jangamo, an area in Inhambane known to be a
premier dive and fishing area in Mozambique. Each self-catering chalet
is situated close to the beachfront.
Spacious self-catering chalets and baracas are built on a sandbank surrounded by lush tropical vegetation. Each reed 4 - 8 bedroom chalet has been fully kitted out for families or friends who choose to cater for themselves and includes a stove, fridge, cutlery, crockery and enough preparation areas. Chalets have 2 private porches, one overlooking the sea and one to the back of the chalet.
The resort offers loads of outdoor activities and you can hire all the equipment you might need from the dive centre. The area has around 15 spectacular dive spots and ranges from the coral gardens to Disneyland where there is so much to see you might think you've entered an animated movie.
The resort has a vibrant night life and they organise parties, discos and beach barbeques to keep guests entertained in the evenings.
Take a day to visit Inhambane's interesting markets, museums and buildings. You can also choose to go on a Cultural tour where you get to experience true island life by seeing where the locals live.
