Baia Sonâmbula is a recent addition to the Mozambique coast line and
situated in Tofo Village and around 25km from Inhambane. This
guesthouse is said to be the most luxurious accommodation in Tofo. The lodge is almost hidden away and is surrounded by huge trees that create a private and cool atmosphere. Baia Sonâmbula has three en-suite sea view bungalows and two en-suite rooms and most of these rooms have a peaceful beach and beautiful sea view.
Each bungalow at Baia Sonâmbula has a veranda where you can relax in the shade. They are decorated in cooling white colours and wooden furnishings.
The en-suite rooms are more affordable, but still beautiful and perfect for those travelers who want to spend more time on outdoor activities. The beach is a stone’s throw (50m) from Baia Sonâmbula and Tofo hosts an array of activities - perfect for a beach holiday.
The guesthouse has a spacious common lounge with comfortable couches and soft scatter cushions. Here you can read magazines or interact with other visitors. You can also choose to lounge on relaxing deck-chairs found on the two main terraces that is part of the guest house.
Baia Sonâmbula is the perfect venue from where you can explore Tofo Village. Take a walk to quant restaurants, beach bars and local markets.

Breakfast is normally served on the main house terrace. Lunch and dinner is not served here, but Casa de Corner restaurant is located 5 minutes along the beach.
