Getting there by air Scheduled flights: There are daily scheduled flights to Vilanculos from both Johannesburg and Lanseria.
Charter flights: Private and scheduled charters can be arranged from either Johannesburg or Nelspruit.
Vilanculos has an international airport which offers daily flights to several regional destinations, including Johannesburg, Maputo, Swaziland, Durban and elsewhere.
Getting there by road Unlike some other exclusive African destinations, Vilanculos is easily accessible by two-wheel-drive vehicles.
