Vilanculos Beach Lodge is situated on a ridge around 100m from the
seafront. It is located around 5km from Vilaculos Village, directly
opposite the Bazaruto Archipelago islands and around 700km from Maputo.
Each of the ten luxury chalets is built on sambiri stilts and has raised mahogany decks. These chalets have large glass doors that open up to a beautiful sea view. En-suite bathrooms boast an open shower, double vanity, toilet and a bidet.
The Villa can accommodate up to 14 guests in five bedrooms each with an en-suite bathroom.
Spend time in communal areas where large umbrellas offer shaded seating on comfy loungers or take a stroll through the lush tropical gardens.
The lodge offers loads of activities for everyone's taste. Spend day’s snorkelling, exploring neighbouring islands, scuba diving, windsurfing or kayaking.

Vilanculo has an international airport. Fly direct from Johannesburg International Airport or Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport (Nelspruit) to Vilanculo. Catch a flight from OR Tambo (Johannesburg) International Airport to Mozambique. Baggage is limited to 20kg per seated person. After clearing customs and immigration at Vilanculos you'll be transferred to the Lodge.
The road from South Africa is tarred all the way from Komatipoort border to Vilankulo and a 4x4 is not required. Just before getting into Maputo, turn left onto the National road EN1 to the North (Xai-Xai, Inhambane, Vilankulo, Beira).
From this point the turn-off to the right towards Vilankulo is ±750km.Signs will lead you from the village to the lodge which lies about 4km north of the village.
