Directions to Serenity from Bilene.(Short Route)
Enter Bilene and drive down to the beach road. Turn left and proceed until you pass the market. Past the market you will find Chin Chin restaurant and BIM bank. Between Chin Chin and BIM you will find a dirt road exiting left. Take this dirt road and proceed for about 500m until you find a split in the road with a lot of signs indicating Serenity, Nhabanga, Beach Camp etc. Turn right at these signs and continue for another 100m Again there will be a turn-off to the left with the same signs…turn left. Continue for a few kilometres until you find a split in the road, turn right where you see the signs for Serenity, Nhabanga, Beach Camp , Laguna etc. Continue straight on this road for a few kilometres (beware of oncoming traffic) until you get to a Tjunction. At this junction you will find more signs e.g Laguna Camp, Massala, Serenity etc. Turn left and continue for almost 1km past the small lake. At the top of the hill, you will find more signs indicating Laguna Camp, Serenity, Beach Camp etc. Go straight (do not turn right towards Laguna!) Continue and follow signs to Serenity, Beach Camp etc. You will eventually reach the beach, turn left on the beach and follow the beach. You will encounter two small streams, cross over the pipe bridges. (From the second and last stream crossing, it is 2.5km driving on the beach to Serenity) You will pass the village of Nhabanga and Villa Nhabanga. The beach road will become narrow past the big dune, and as soon as you reach the wide part of the beach, look out for the Serenity entrance about 150m on. At night we have a blue light at the gate indicating the entrance.
