The holiday in Mozambique was excellent. Leonie, you were spot on with the recommendation for our anniversary weekend. We were in Villa 8 which was almost as good as the Villa Quilalea. Staff and food and location was to die for.All arrangements were seemless. Thank you for everything.

All went well, thank you for your good service, and for getting discounts which helped concretise our decision to go to Quilalea. Everything went smoothly, flights, being met at the airport in Pemba, transfer to the island etc. Our week on the island was magic! It is a lovely island, small enough to be private but big enough for walks and exploring. Our principal activity was snorkeling, 2 or 3 times a day. Visibility was rather poor on the main beach unfortunately but we still did see a good variety of fish, got to know where they hang out, and certainly enjoyed time in the water. We took a short boat trip to The Canyon where visibility, coral and fish were excellent - a recommended outing for snorkelers. Accommodation was fantastic, Kuzi Cottages. Cottages with pools would be a plus, but we were totally happy with the cottages we had. Food was good, they really made a good effort for the 2 vegetarians in our party of 3. Personal service was brilliant, everyone is very helpful. Claudia and Leon were excellent at overseeing everything. They are also highly experienced divers and able to give us valuable information about snorkeling and diving destinations in Raja Ampat where they spent a good number of years. The weather was kind to us, just a couple of showers, mainly at night or early morning, otherwise lots of sunshine. The baobab trees are magnificent. The size of the resort is just right, for us anyway, you never feel crowded at all, that is one of the distinctive features of the island. Magic!
