About Situ Island Resort

Welcome to one of the newest eco-resort in Pemba, northern Mozambique, where diving is the main attraction and heavenly tranquillity the second drawcard. As you fly over the breath-taking sight of the gorgeous Quirimbas Archipelago you will know that your pending holiday on Situ Island is going to stay with you forever. And Situ Island Resort has been designed for your complete pampering leisure and relaxation.

Situ Island Resort

It took a group of friends and business people to come up with the idea of Situ Island Resort as a means to escape their busy working lives at regular intervals. They created this family holiday getaway in northern Mozambique which is easily accessible by aeroplane and yet, still remote enough to offer pristine beaches and unexplored coral reefs. A place where guests can walk in safety and solitude, drink sundowners on the beach and explore the clear water depths of the Indian Ocean.

Keeping up with current trends, Situ Island Resort promotes environmental responsibility with its solar energy and desalination plant for water. It also caters for those who love a bit of luxury and a spot of thrilling game fishing – two super modern, fully equipped and high tech catamarans take keen anglers out into the open ocean to hook huge fish while the aluminium Quintrex adds to the excitement for smaller groups.

Why not book the entire Situ Island Resort and have the island to yourself? Bring family or friends and spread out into the intimate yet private beach villas for the Mozambique holiday of a lifetime. Each delightful chalet has been designed using natural materials and boasts king-size or three-quarter beds, en-suite showers and incredible ocean views.

Step from your patio into the waves with a cup of coffee every morning! Gather in the Clubhouse for all meals which are based on wholesome ingredients and offer a Mozambican flair.  Extreme tides allow for great swimming and exploring the coral reefs which emerge at low tide. Follow a nature trail to the beautiful mangrove swamps and laze under the coconut palms with a picnic for two.
