Kevin Record is the founder and director of Mozambique Travel and has spent more than three decades working across African tourism, lodge development, and safari operations. His career began with the establishment of one of Southern Africa’s leading independent safari companies, where he oversaw operations across more than a dozen African countries and managed extensive ground logistics for international clients.

Kevin’s experience extends well beyond tour operations. He has played a central role in the conceptualization, development, and operational management of luxury lodge projects in Mozambique, including remote island and coastal properties His understanding of responsible tourism, sustainable development, and community integration informs how Mozambique Travel selects partners and designs itineraries today.



Kevin remains actively involved in shaping the company’s strategic direction, commercial partnerships, and destination focus. His hands-on approach, combined with deep operational knowledge, ensures Mozambique Travel operates with credibility, transparency, and long-term commitment to the destinations it represents.

Lutfiyyah Davids

Sales Director

Lutfiyyah Davids is the Sales Director at Mozambique Travel and has over 20 years of experience designing and managing holidays across Southern and East Africa. Her role combines strategic oversight of sales operations with hands-on involvement in client planning and consultation.

Having travelled extensively throughout Mozambique and neighboring safari destinations, Lutfiyyah brings strong destination knowledge to every enquiry. She has personally inspected a wide range of lodges, beach resorts, and safari camps, allowing her to advise clients honestly on suitability, value, and timing.

Her experience includes planning honeymoons, family holidays, safari and beach combinations, and complex multi-country itineraries. She is known for her calm, structured approach and her ability to manage detailed arrangements while maintaining clear communication with clients and suppliers.

Lutfiyyah plays a key leadership role within the team, ensuring consistent service standards, timely responses, and a professional client experience from first contact through to travel completion.

Rushaan Levy is a senior travel designer with nearly two decades of experience in luxury safari and bespoke travel planning. Based in Cape Town, he has travelled widely across Southern Africa and has in-depth knowledge of private game reserves, national parks, and coastal destinations.

His career includes senior roles at specialist safari operators, where he designed tailor-made itineraries for individuals, couples, families, and incentive groups. Rushaan’s planning style is client-focused and practical, with particular attention paid to pacing, property selection, and realistic travel times.

Rushaan specialises in customised travel experiences that combine safari, culture, and coastal relaxation. He is particularly skilled at matching travellers with the right properties based on travel style, expectations, and budget rather than trends.

Fiona is a co-founder of Mozambique Travel and has been designing African holidays for international clients since the mid-1990s. Having grown up in Africa and travelled extensively across the continent, she brings exceptional destination insight and attention to detail to every itinerary. Fiona specializes in honeymoons, special celebrations, and tailor-made journeys, with a strong focus on guest experience, long-term client relationships, and promoting Africa responsibly to global markets.
