Situated on Benguerra Island in the Bazaruto Archipelago, the sanctuary can be reached via Vilankulos Airport, which receives daily commercial flights from Johannesburg and Maputo. Upon arrival at the airport, guests are greeted by a Kisawa airport host who assists with immigration procedures. From Vilankulos, guests take a scenic helicopter charter organized by the Kisawa team, with a flight time of only about 5 to 10 minutes.
The sanctuary is set on an impressive 750-acre estate, offering a sense of exclusivity and privacy. To navigate the expansive property, each guest is provided with their own dedicated Mini Moke for easy transportation around the sanctuary.
