Day 1

Maun Airport to Wilderness Savuti

Arrive at Maun Airport in Botswana where you will be met by a Wilderness representative and assisted to your light aircraft flight into the Linyanti Reserve. The scenic flight offers views across wetlands, woodland and floodplains before landing near Wilderness Savuti. A short game drive transfer brings you to camp where your first afternoon safari introduces the wildlife rich Savuti Channel region.

Days 1 to 4

Wilderness Savuti, Linyanti Reserve

Spend three nights at Wilderness Savuti located along the famous Savuti Channel. This remote concession is known for its large elephant populations and strong predator activity. Elevated canvas and thatch suites overlook the channel and surrounding grasslands where wildlife regularly gathers.

Morning and afternoon game drives explore mopane forests, floodplains and river corridors in search of lions, leopards, wild dogs and large elephant herds. Because the concession is privately managed, night drives allow guests to encounter nocturnal wildlife rarely seen in national parks.

A memorable optional experience is the Savuti Star Bed where guests spend a night on a raised platform near Lake Zibadianja beneath the African night sky.

Day 4

Savuti to Wilderness Qorokwe

After breakfast you depart by light aircraft for a short flight into the Okavango Delta. From the air the Delta reveals its intricate waterways and islands before landing at the Qorokwe airstrip.

Days 4 to 7

Wilderness Qorokwe, Okavango Delta

Wilderness Qorokwe lies in the south eastern Okavango Delta within a private wildlife concession known for excellent year round game viewing. The camp overlooks seasonal floodplains where elephants, buffalo and antelope move between water channels.

Nine elevated tented suites offer views across the surrounding grasslands and include spacious interiors and private decks. The central lodge area features a dining room, lounge, library and infinity pool overlooking the plains.

Game drives depart early in the morning and again in the afternoon when wildlife activity is highest. Skilled guides track fresh footprints, listen for alarm calls and interpret animal behaviour to locate predators and other wildlife. Because only a handful of vehicles operate within the concession, sightings remain private and unhurried.

Day 7

Okavango Delta to Johannesburg

Fly from the Okavango Delta back to Maun where you connect with your flight to Johannesburg. On arrival at O.R. Tambo International Airport you will be met and assisted before walking to the InterContinental Johannesburg O.R. Tambo Airport hotel for your overnight stay.

Day 7 to 8

InterContinental Johannesburg O.R. Tambo Airport

Located directly opposite the airport terminal, the InterContinental Johannesburg O.R. Tambo Airport provides a comfortable stop between safari and island destinations. Spacious rooms feature soundproofing, modern amenities and blackout curtains for a restful night.

Your final five nights are spent at Azura Marlin Beach on Benguerra Island in Mozambique. Located within the protected Bazaruto Archipelago Marine National Park, this island destination is famous for white sand beaches, coral reefs and marine life.
