Singita Lebombo Lodge is one of the most architecturally distinctive safari lodges in Kruger National Park, set within a private concession overlooking the N’Wanetsi River near Satara
Singita Lebombo occupies a private concession inside Kruger National Park, overlooking the N’Wanetsi River from the rugged Lebombo landscape. Its glass-walled suites, elevated decks and contemporary interiors create a safari experience that feels connected to the sky, river and surrounding wilderness.
The accommodation comprises 13 one-bedroom Lebombo Suites, two two-bedroom suites and one four-bedroom private villa. This allows the lodge to accommodate couples, families and private groups without giving each traveler the same experience.
Mozambique Travel does not need to explain why Singita is one of Africa’s leading safari brands. Our role is to decide what should follow it. The strongest continuation is the Bazaruto Archipelago, where protected reefs, seagrass beds, islands and marine wildlife replace Kruger’s terrestrial wilderness.
The result is more than a luxury safari followed by a beach. It is a journey from one protected African ecosystem to another, with the accommodation, guiding and travel arrangements maintained at an appropriate standard throughout.

Singita Lebombo can be combined with several premium Bazaruto properties, with the strongest pairing determined by the travelers rather than simply by price.
For conservation-minded couples, Singita Lebombo and &Beyond Benguerra create a particularly strong journey from a protected Kruger wilderness to Bazaruto Archipelago National Park. Professional guiding and conservation remain important on both sides of the itinerary, while the environment changes completely from terrestrial safari to marine wilderness.
Singita Lebombo Villa and Kisawa Sanctuary suit private groups, adult families and multigenerational travelers wanting substantial private accommodation and dedicated service throughout the holiday.
Singita Lebombo and Azura Benguerra provide a more intimate option for honeymooners and couples, pairing contemporary Kruger luxury with a romantic private-pool island stay.
Mozambique Travel coordinates the Satara departure, scheduled or private aircraft, international formalities, Vilanculos arrival and final island transfer before confirming the complete itinerary.

MOZAMBIQUE TRAVEL
Choose from 13 one-bedroom Lebombo Suites, two two-bedroom suites with private plunge pools and a four-bedroom private villa for up to eight adults.
Dining, wine experiences, wellness facilities and highly personal service complement the safari, with the private villa adding its own guide, host, chef and dedicated team.
Explore Singita’s private Kruger concession on morning and afternoon game drives, with guided walks, mountain biking, wellness and other activities available according to conditions.
Singita Lebombo is served by the Satara airstrip, with scheduled lodge flights and private charters coordinated around the onward journey to Mozambique.

Lebombo suits travelers who want contemporary design, exceptional service and private-concession game viewing inside Kruger National Park. Its location differs from the Sabi Sand properties, placing guests in a more remote eastern section of the national park.
Morning and afternoon game drives explore the concession with experienced guides and trackers. Lion, elephant, buffalo, leopard, rhino, African wild dog and numerous other species occur in the wider ecosystem, although no individual sighting can be guaranteed.
Guided walks, wine experiences, wellness treatments, mountain biking and other activities may complement the drives. Participation depends on age, weather, safety and current operating conditions.
The lodge’s food, wine and service are integral to the stay. Guests can dine in different locations, visit the wine studio, use the wellness and fitness facilities or spend time on their elevated deck between safari activities.
We recommend Lebombo to travelers who want their safari lodge to be both an architectural experience and an accomplished base for exploring Kruger.
The 13 one-bedroom suites are designed primarily for couples and adults. Expansive windows frame the wilderness, while elevated decks provide private outdoor space and the option of sleeping beneath mosquito netting when weather and lodge arrangements permit.
The two two-bedroom suites have private plunge pools and suit families or two couples traveling together. Children under ten may stay in these suites under Singita’s current family policy.
The four-bedroom Lebombo Villa accommodates up to eight adults and includes a private pool, lounge, dining area, kitchen and boma. Its current offering includes a private guide, host, chef, banakeli and safari vehicle.
The villa is a strong option for multigenerational families, private groups and milestone celebrations. It can be paired with a multi-bedroom residence at Kisawa Sanctuary, preserving private living space and dedicated service on both sides of the journey.
Children aged ten and older are welcome in all suites. Younger children must stay in the appropriate two-bedroom accommodation or villa. Safari participation remains at the guide’s discretion, and guided bush walks currently require guests to be at least 16.

Bazaruto Archipelago National Park provides a compelling continuation after Lebombo. The marine environment includes coral reefs, seagrass habitats, dunes, beaches and waters used by turtles, rays, dolphins and other marine species.
The change of ecosystem is complete, but the journey can retain its emphasis on conservation and interpreted experiences. Guided snorkeling, diving, island exploration and marine excursions allow the beach stay to become more than passive recovery after safari.
Vilanculos is the principal aviation gateway. Guests then continue by helicopter or boat to their selected island property.
The correct lodge depends on how the traveler wants to experience Bazaruto. &Beyond Benguerra, Kisawa Sanctuary and Azura Benguerra all serve the premium market, but their scale, hosting and atmosphere are different.
Kisawa Sanctuary is the better match for Lebombo Villa guests and travelers prioritizing maximum privacy. Its large residences, dedicated teams and connection with the Bazaruto Center for Scientific Studies support private groups, adult families and clients interested in marine research and wellness.
Azura Benguerra offers a more intimate and romantic island experience. Its private-pool villas and personal hosting suit honeymooners and couples who want polished service in a warmer, less expansive lodge environment.
Kisawa is not automatically better because it is more expensive, and Azura should not be dismissed because it operates at a different scale. We compare privacy, residence size, beach position, activity interests and preferred hosting style before recommending the island.
We recommend Lebombo to couples, adult families and private groups wanting an exceptional safari inside Kruger rather than in an adjoining reserve. It is particularly well suited to travelers who value conservation, contemporary architecture, food, wine and highly personal service.
The one-bedroom suites work naturally for honeymoons and anniversaries. The two-bedroom suites and villa allow families to retain privacy and safari flexibility without moving to a conventional family resort.
We would not automatically recommend Lebombo to everyone seeking the most expensive safari. Earth Lodge may better suit a traveler whose primary interest is architecture integrated into the landscape. Royal Malewane may be more appropriate for traditional opulence and private-house service. A smaller Sabi Sand lodge may better suit guests focused on intimacy and leopard photography.
The choice should reflect the travelers rather than the reputation of the brand.

Singita can arrange an exceptional Singita stay. Our expertise begins with deciding what should happen after it.
Tell us who is traveling, the children’s ages, the level of privacy you expect and whether conservation, diving, romance or family space matters most. We will establish whether &Beyond Benguerra, Kisawa, Azura or another Mozambique property is the right continuation.
We will then coordinate the Satara departure, scheduled or private aircraft, border formalities, Vilanculos arrival and island transfer as one journey.
After 25 years of arranging Mozambique holidays, we know that an ultra-luxury itinerary is not created by selecting the most expensive safari and beach lodges. It is created by matching the right properties and protecting the quality of the experience between them.
