A Family Lagoon Villa or Family Beach Villa

Coral Lodge has only two dedicated Family Villas. One faces the lagoon and the other is positioned on the Indian Ocean side of the peninsula.

The Family Lagoon Villa overlooks mangroves and the calmer western side of the property. Families can watch the changing tide, sunset and birdlife from the deck. Its more sheltered position may suit younger children and guests who prefer less ocean noise at night.

The Family Beach Villa faces east towards the Indian Ocean. It offers sunrise views, cooling sea breezes and the sound of the waves. It provides a stronger beachfront atmosphere but may be less appropriate for particularly light sleepers.

Coral Lodge is not a conventional children’s-club resort. Its family appeal comes from the beach, natural environment, personal service and opportunities for parents and children to experience northern Mozambique together.

Airlink’s direct Johannesburg–Nacala flights operate on Mondays and Fridays. A seven-night Monday-to-Monday or Friday-to-Friday holiday is therefore the cleanest festive-season itinerary.

On arrival in Nacala, guests continue to Coral Lodge by arranged road and boat transfer. This is a meaningful onward journey rather than a quick airport transfer, and times can vary with road conditions and tides.
