Train-Carriage Suites and Ocean-Facing Pool Suites

The safari stay is in a Luxury Carriage Suite at Kruger Shalati, positioned on the historic Selati Bridge above the Sabie River. The White Pearl stay uses an elevated Pool Suite with a private plunge pool, wooden deck, outdoor shower, air-conditioning and views toward the Indian Ocean.

Beach Pool Suites, positioned closer to the shore with direct beach access, can be quoted as an upgrade.

Big Five Safaris and Indian Ocean Experiences

Kruger Shalati includes two guided game drives daily, with time between activities to enjoy the train’s shared spaces and overhanging pool. At White Pearl, selected activities may include beach snorkeling, kayaking, stand-up paddleboarding, shoreline fishing, fat-bike rides and stargazing.

Ocean Safaris, scuba diving, horse riding, spa treatments and private excursions may cost extra. Wildlife sightings and ocean activities depend on weather, tides and natural conditions.

Kruger to Maputo by Air

Guests transfer between Kruger Shalati and Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport, then use the applicable scheduled or charter flight to Maputo. From Maputo International Airport, an arranged road transfer continues south to White Pearl Resorts at Ponta Mamoli.

The KMIA–Maputo route operates only on selected days. The lodge dates must be matched to a confirmed flight before non-refundable accommodation is secured.

This package suits couples, honeymooners and experienced travelers who want a highly distinctive Kruger safari followed by a short private-pool beach stay. Four nights at White Pearl provide a practical post-safari break, while travelers with more time can extend the beach portion to five or six nights.

It may be less suitable for guests wanting a fully flexible self-drive itinerary or those unable to travel on the operating days of the Kruger–Maputo flight.
