From Riverside Luxury to a Wildlife Pan

Muzimu is Gorongosa’s intimate six-tent lodge, positioned along the Mussicadzi River. Its spacious safari tents include en-suite bathrooms and private decks, while the main lodge provides dining and lounge areas beneath the surrounding riverine vegetation. 

Chicari creates a different atmosphere. Ten canvas tents, including eight safari tents and two treehide tents, overlook a natural pan that attracts wildlife through the season. Raised wooden walkways connect the accommodation while preserving the camp’s low-impact character. 

Five Nights to Explore Gorongosa

Daily shared safari activities introduce guests to Gorongosa’s varied landscapes and remarkable conservation story. Depending on conditions and the operating program, days can include game drives, guided walks and seasonal experiences across the park.

Fly From Beira Directly Into Gorongosa

Return scheduled light-air transfers between Beira and Gorongosa are built into the official package pricing, avoiding the much longer road journey into the national park.

The current scheduled service operates on selected days, so arrival and departure flights into Beira need to align with the Gorongosa connection. International and regional flights to Beira remain separate.
