Choose a Private 4×4 or Helicopter Arrival

The standard journey from Vilanculos Airport uses a private 4×4 transfer and generally takes between 90 minutes and two hours, depending on tides, beach conditions and the route available that day.

Couples can alternatively request a private helicopter transfer for a faster arrival. This option can work particularly well after a long international journey, although helicopter baggage allowances are more restrictive.

Both road and helicopter transfers are excluded from the base honeymoon package and quoted separately.

The special applies to stays of at least four nights and cannot be combined with another promotion or long-stay rate. The final honeymoon price depends on travel dates, current bungalow rates, offer availability and the selected transfer from Vilanculos.

Mozambique Travel will verify the applicable honeymoon rate and documentation requirements before confirming the booking. Flights and either the private 4×4 or helicopter transfer will then be quoted separately.
